if I like the IBS look but my customers
keep asking for pumps?
We sell pumps for most of our bottled
products so you can sell them to your customers.
Why do I want to stay with the
IBS stock bottle and cap and/or the stock
jar and jar lid?
If you stay with the stock bottle and
cap your private label order is usually
turned around in 10 - 17 business days.
Most of our clients are tight on storage
space, and this allows them to order only
what they need, when they need it.
Why do I want to stay with the
IBS available fragrances, why not a custom
fragrance or product?
You may always choose a custom product
or fragrance, but they come with restrictions,
please see option # 3. One reason our
clients like to go with our available
product and fragrances is simply due to
the fact that these are what is selling
well for IBS right now. They are proven
sellers.
What is the advantage to buying
in small quantities? Won’t I get
better pricing if I buy in large quantities?
One benefit of buying in smaller quantities
is that it is a great help when you first
open your spa to test market what your
clients like, that way you are not stuck
with a whole lot of inventory if a particular
scent is not popular with your clients.
It can also help with seasonal fluctuations
on fragrances. Large orders are welcome,
but we suggest you have a clear idea of
your demand for a projected six-month
period. We want your private label program
to be successful.
How can I afford to print labels
for all the different fragrances you have?
We recommend that when you print your
label, such as a Body Lotion label, that
you DO NOT specify a fragrance on the
label. We notate the fragrance with an
“essence” sticker adhered
to the cap of the bottle or to the side
of the label. This gives you flexibility
with what you can offer to your customers
and it allows you to use one label for
all the different fragrances available.
This also allows you to bring fragrances
in and out of your line for seasonal promotions.
Is there ever a time when I might
print a label with the product fragrance
in the label title?
Yes, some of our products are completely
unique in composition, so you should design
that label custom to that product. Our
Orange Peel Body Buff and our Exfoliating
Green Clay & Tea Leaf Masque are a
couple examples of a single use label.
The only time we recommend you do specific
labels are for signature scents or if
your desire is to have a wide variety
of label colors.
How do I get my labels to you
each time I need product?
We warehouse your labels here in our label
storage room, so they are always ready
for your next order. There is no charge
for label storage.
Does the wholesale unit cost
include my label cost?
No, the wholesale unit cost only includes
the cost of applying your label to the
products. Label design and printing costs
are separate and you may learn more about
these costs in our Label production options.
Does Innovative Body Science
design labels?
Yes, IBS has a graphics department that
will design a label to your satisfaction.
Using your logo, we can design your private
label line for as low as $500. With help
from you on your spa’s theme, we
will come up with three different design
looks for you to choose from. If you do
not have a logo and you would like us
to “create” your logo and
your label design, then we can quote you
logo design work based on the information
given.

print labels?
IBS works with many label-printing companies
and after 18 years we believe we have
narrowed it down to the best in the business.
We are constantly searching for the latest
technology in electronic color printing
to deliver the best look at the best prices.
There are many different label types and
different label printing processes to
achieve varying degrees of label quality
and durability. We will work with you
and your budget to get the best label
for your money.
How much do labels cost?
Label costs can vary dramatically depending
upon the type of label, the amount of
colors desired, the quality of the label
stock, and the printing process that is
used to achieve the final product quality.
Labels can range in unit cost from $ .10/each
to $1.50/each.
If IBS makes the products, how
do I keep my customers from coming directly
to you to reorder product?
Private label is the exact reason you
don’t want your clients calling
IBS for more product, and here is how
that works. All private labels state “Made
exclusively for spa name” and your
spas address, phone number, and web address.
Our name is no where on your label.
Note: Don’t forget to tell your
staff that no client is to ever know from
whom you get your private label products.
What are the labeling requirements?
Label Size: Bottle - No
more than 3” high x 6 ½”
long, Jar
All retail products are to have the weight
of the product in US measure and Metric
measurement. For example, an 8 oz. liquid
products needs to say "8 fl. oz. /
236mls ". This would go on the bottom
portion of the front label. It is mandatory
that you put the name of the facility and
what city and state you are located in.
So you must have "Made Exclusively
for spa name". This tells the consumer
that you did not make it yourself. This
is FDA requirement. Also, you do not need
to put a physical address, but you do have
to say the City & State.

Do I have to take delivery of all 72 pieces
all at once?
No, you may issue IBS a “blanket purchase
order” for 72 pieces of each product
(& fragrance) and you can pull from
your order over a 3-month time period. At
the end of the third month you will be required
to take the remainder of the order.
Can I get a different bottle
than the three styles currently offered?
Yes, but we say this with caution because
the biggest hindrance to obtaining a different
bottle or jar is the minimum quantities
mandated by the suppliers. The other hindrance
is that we may be able to purchase a small
amount this time, but on your next order
the supplier may impose a 25,000 piece
minimum purchase. The labels you had printed
for these special bottles may not go with
any other bottle that is readily available.
Why do I have to wait so long
for my order to be produced?
Our products are on a production schedule
and depending on the time you place your
order and when the next run of that product
occurs, will determine the turnaround
time. Your customized products will be
included in the production run with our
professional and stock retail bottles
to keep your costs down.
Does this cost me more to vary
from the stock componentry?
No, as long as you choose from our in-stock
available components and bottles, there
will be no variation in cost from our
standard wholesale price for that particular
product. Yes there can be a cost difference
if you want to add a pump to a product
that typically receives a cap.
Do I get a discount price for
doing this many?
IBS analyzed our production costs to be
able to offer this option and at 72 pieces
this is the smallest Custom run we can
produce for the same wholesale pricing
seen on our price list. Discounts can
be realized based on volume, so if lower
cost is your goal you will need to consider
option #3.
At 72 pieces, can I get a color
change or custom fragrance?
No, this option is just for packaging changes
desired off spec from our standard packaging.

Do I have to take delivery of my whole order?
Yes, you will be required to take shipment
of the entire production run unless warehouse
storage arrangements are established.
Can I purchase the bottles or
jars myself and have IBS fill them with
their great products?
Yes, we have many clients that send us
their components directly and we fill
them with our products. Please remember
that we cannot set a production date until
all pieces of your purchase order puzzle
are received in our warehouse.
If I am doing a large run, can
I customize the fragrance and color?
Yes, customized fragrances and/or colors
are available in 30-gallon minimums, so
if your retail order is 500 pieces or
more you will have no problems using the
30 gallons.
If I do a custom batch of 30
gallons what are my options?
Product can be filled into a combination
of retail and professional sizes. Client
will be required to take the entire order
shipment or monthly warehouse storage
can be quoted.

Orders are sent via UPS ground unless
otherwise specified.
Terms:
C.O.D. or pre-ay required for all orders
until credit is established. Terms are
net 30 upon approved credit.
